Short Bio
Heejin Kim is a post-doctoral fellow in the Illinois Speech and Language
Engineering Group, Beckman Institute. She is currently working in
Universal Access Automatic Speech Recognition Project.
She defended her doctoral dissertation in July 2006
in the Department of Linguistics,
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She earned
a BA in Korean Language and Literature and an MA in Korean
Linguistics from Yonsei University in 1994 and 1996, respectively.
Her primary research area has been speech prosody.
She had been a member of the Linguistic Laboratory for Speech Prosody
from 2001 to 2006.
